Second instalment of 2019 interim taxes are due April 30, 2019 
 Penalty at 1.25% per month applies after the due date. It is the responsibility of the ratepayer to ensure that payments are received by the municipality on/before the due date. Residents, groups and organizations are invited to get an early start on Pitch-In Week as it will be held locally from April 22-29, 2019. 
The Town of New Tecumseth will supply individuals, organizations, community groups, or schools with garbage bags and gloves to clean-up your schoolyard, neighbourhood, favourite park or playground.

New Tecumseth Fire Rescue would like to remind building owners that they have a mandated responsibility for the safety of their tenants and must comply with the Ontario Fire Code. 
On March 20, 2019, the owner of an Alliston building and the property management company that the owner had hired to maintain the property plead guilty in Provincial Offences Court to two charges laid under the Ontario Fire Code.
