The Town of New Tecumseth is advising residents of an emergency road closure on 6th Line between Tottenham Road and Sideroad 10.
A large tree has fallen across the roadway and has brought down power lines. New Tecumseth Fire Rescue is on scene and Hydro One has been notified and is responding.
The road will remain closed until the area can be safely cleared.
Residents are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Updates will be provided when the road has reopened.
