The Museum on the Boyne is welcoming the season with a full lineup of fall programs for residents and visitors. From heritage walking tours and a murder mystery evening to Halloween activities, a quilt exhibit reception and a P.A. day program about fungi, there is something for many ages and interests.

Heritage Home Walking Tour
Step into Alliston’s rich history during a guided walking tour of heritage homes and historical buildings around Fletcher Crescent and the surrounding area. Take in the changing fall colours of Riverdale Park while learning about Alliston’s past.

Alliston Union Cemetery Tour
Join the Museum on the Boyne for a respectful guided walking tour exploring stories, monument artistry, symbols and local history throughout Alliston Union Cemetery.
Date & Time: October 10 from 10:30 AM to 12 PM
Murder Mystery Night Out
Step into an immersive murder mystery experience filled with twists, turns and chilling surprises. Participants will work together to crack the case, uncover clues and identify the culprit. Pizza dinner included.

Boo Bash
Families are invited to enjoy Halloween fun at the Museum on the Boyne with a Halloween craft, pumpkin painting, a scavenger hunt and trick-or-treating around the museum.

Quilt Exhibit Reception
Join the Museum on the Boyne for the opening of the Quilt Exhibit. The evening includes local textile history, exhibit tours, brief remarks, refreshments and a children’s interactive area.
Date & Time: November 19 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
P.A Day: Fall Fungi!
Kids ages 7 to 12 are invited to a morning of hands-on learning about mushrooms and the forest’s hidden heroes. Activities include multi-media crafts, felt mushrooms and spore printing.
