Public Comment Period Opens on Provincial Growth and Housing Proposal
NEW TECUMSETH, ON – The Town of New Tecumseth is aware of a proposal released today on the Province’s Environmental Registry of Ontario related to ‘Addressing Growth and Housing Needs in South Simcoe’. The proposal is currently under review by senior Town staff and is expected to be brought forward for consideration at a future Council meeting.
The Province has opened a 30-day public commenting period, which will remain open until May 8.
“Public input is an important part of this process,” said Mayor Richard Norcross. “We encourage residents to share their feedback during the Province’s commenting period.”
