Nightly Road Closures in Effect for Downtown Alliston Resurfacing Project
Residents and motorists are advised that nightly road closures are currently in effect on portions of Victoria Street, King Street and Young Street as part of the Town’s 2026 Connecting Link Resurfacing Program. Closures will occur from 7 PM to 7AM until September 25, weather permitting.
Work is taking place on:
- Victoria Street from Industrial Road to King Street North
- King Street from Victoria Street West to Young Street
- Young Street from King Street South to 208 Young Street
One lane of traffic will remain open during construction activities where possible, and access to homes, businesses and emergency services will be maintained. Motorists are encouraged to follow posted signage and allow extra travel time when travelling through the area.
