Notice of Public Meeting – Zoning By-law Amendment

The Town has received an application to change the zoning for PLAN 51M1053 BLK 144. Read the full formal notice here.

Public Meeting: July 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 24 Tupper Street West, Alliston. The meeting will also be livestreamed on YouTube.

The applicant is proposing zoning changes to allow townhouse units on private roads. Some Environmental Protection and Open Space zoning may also apply.

How to participate:

  • Register to speak by 12:00 p.m. on July 15.
  • Send written comments to clerk@newtecumseth.ca or mail them to Town Hall.
  • Watch the livestream on the Town website.

To keep your appeal rights, you must submit comments before Council makes its decision. Only individuals, corporations, and public bodies can appeal.
