Facility Rentals

An arena floor dry pad surface (cement) is offered at the Alliston Memorial Arena as a rental space available year round and at the Tottenham Community Centre and Beeton Memorial Arena, April to September annually. A dry pad is ideal for ball hockey, lacrosse or indoor sport training. 

An indoor turf/fieldhouse is located at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre and available for rentals year round. Indoor footwear is required on the turf surface. Please note food and beverage are not permitted in the fieldhouse at any time. This space is ideal for soccer, lacrosse, football and indoor dryland training. 

The Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre offers the rental of a wood floor gymnasium that may be rented as a whole or divided into smaller areas. 

Whole Gymnasium rental space dimensions 60' x 100' 

Large Gymnasium rental space dimensions 60' x 60' 

Small Gymnasium rental space dimensions 60' x 40' 

This space is commonly rented as a sport rental space offering the use basketball, volleyball, badminton or pickleball nets. You can also host a social gathering or banquet in this space. 

The Town of New Tecumseth has many community halls and meeting rooms for all your meeting or social needs.

Last Minute Ice - currently not available as the online portal is down

Book your last-minute ice online to pay $99.00 per hour plus tax and applicable insurance fees. Ice is considered last minute when booked within 1 hour to 48 hours of the rented time. Available for online rentals only for a limited time.

Tottenham Conservation Area 

The Tottenham Conservation Area offers day use visits along with a variety of picnic pavilions, serviced and un-serviced campsites.

Municipal Alcohol Policy 

Wet Field/Rainout Procedure 

If you are playing music at your rental/event, SOCAN and Re-Sound (Entandem) fees will be applied to your rental. SOCAN and Re-Sound are Canadian not-for-profit music licensing companies dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists, composers and record companies for their performance rights. The Town of New Tecumseth collects and remits these fees on behalf of SOCAN and Re-Sound. Please note the Town will calculate the necessary tariffs for the event and be payable under your event permit.

To have a bouncy castle at your rental the inflatable company that you rent from must set up, monitor the use of and take down inflatable. They must also provide TSSA coverage. 5 million dollars of liability insurance must be provided. Any rentals using inflatables will need to provide their own insurance for their booking / activity naming the Town of New Tecumseth as additionally insured. Please reach out to your personal broker (who handles your home and auto insurance) for assistance.  

Rentals including animals/reptiles are permitted with a licensed vendor upon staff approval and receipt of appropriate insurance documents. 

• Vendor Insurance from the licensed vendor/animal company naming the Town of New Tecumseth as additionally insured is required for a Minimum $2 million General Liability. 
• The rental will also have facility rental insurance applied as part of the rental process when booking your facility space. 
• The vendor will be responsible for cleaning up after the animals and ensuring the space remains clean and in a  usable condition. 

All rental fees are applied from the Council approved Fees and Charges By Law. As per the fee by law, a 20% non-resident fee is applicable to those who are not deemed a Town of New Tecumseth resident. A further surcharge of 25% per hour shall be applied to all prime-time private Recreation, Sport and Culture rentals of parks and facilities.
